This Blog is born
Today is exactly 6 weeks to the start of my new adventure: on 8th November I will be joining a 6-weeks' marine expedition in Andavadoaka, SW Madagascar as a volonteer with Blue Ventures (www.blueventures.org).
Well, actually the adventure will start earlier because I am flying out on the 6th but the expedition starts on the 8th.
Access to email will be very sporadic for me so I won't be in touch with many for some time.
Hopefully Simon will be able to update this blog with any interesting story I email to him from the field to keep everybody up-to-date with the latest developments of my new adventure.
At the end of the expedition I will take two weeks to roam around the country. It's not a lot for a land where distances are great and roads basic but I hope to get an idea of what Madagascar is all about.
In total I will be away for 2 months.
The clock is now ticking.
